I am a Hutchins Liberal Studies Graduate of 2021. I graduated in December of 2021 from the Sonoma State Hutchins Program, specifically a Blended student, and in the summer of 2022, I will have my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

I am so very eager to pursue my teaching career because I am passionate about molding curious and intuitive students. My goal as a teacher is to help students learn how to question information and dig deeper into whatever they are learning about. I have found, through my education, that a major flaw in the public schooling system is the lack of focus on teaching children/students how to ask questions.
My choice in becoming a techer stemmed from coming from a larger family of eight children, where I sit at being the second oldest. I am comfortable around children, and even prior to my college education, I was interested in teaching my siblings, and other children close to me, about the world around them. I enjoyed, and still enjoy, planting those seeds of inquiry that blossom into a meandering journey of curiosity. I look forward to taking what I have learned in college, and what I continue to learn about sustained inquiry and applying it to my classroom.
